According to the rumor originally posted by Auto Bild, a source reportedly confirmed that Volkswagen is studying the possibility of assembling some Porsche Boxster and Cayman at the Osnabrück plant that already produces the Golf. If this project moves forward, the Zuffenhausen factory will transfer part of the production of the two sport vehicles to this new location as soon as capacity will have maxed out.
